Website Tabernacle Penclawdd

THE ROLE

Penclawdd is a village in the North Gower Peninsula.  Rich with history, tourism and known for its cockle industry & estuary views, Tabernacle Penclawdd is looking to call a pastor.  The well-known church building stands tall in the community, but we as a fellowship are looking to make a bigger impact with the gospel in a community that is full of opportunities.

THE CHURCH

We currently have 20 to 30 people attending our services and meet in our church building. We also have a manse. Currently we hold weekly Sunday morning services and mid-week Bible study & prayer meetings both in the afternoon and evening. We have a vibrant busy parent and toddler group and have regular outreach events. We also have good links with the local school and nursing homes.

THE REGION

The area attracts a lot of tourism with holidaymakers often coming through to set up camp on one of the many seaside areas on the Peninsula. Penclawdd is also full of young families. We also have visitors join us for worship but we long to have someone come and join the team here.  We are currently supported by three men from different churches that help in both leadership, strategy and ministry so that we are not waiting, but active in gospel work while we look for a pastor.
