AECW CORE TEAM
AECW is run by a wide range of Christian volunteers across the ministry and secular spectrum. We operate through several teams on a national and regional level. Please contact us if we can be of assistance wherever in Wales you are. And if you are an AECW church you can find various specialties within the group that are available to you through the members’ area.
(AECW is not an employer but is currently in the process of registering as a CIO.)
James Allan
Chairman
James Allan is the current chair of AECW and pastor of Hebron Evangelical Church, Dowlais. He is married to Esther, and they have four children. James also serves with the EMW and chairs the organising committee for the annual Aberystwyth Conference.
Rachel Harper
Secretary
Rachel is a member of Bethel, Clydach. She is married to Neil and they have two precious children. She has a heart for Wales but also for all nations, especially the Middle East and North Africa. Rachel has served in Cairo and has been working with Al Massira (almassira.org) since 2015 in her role as International Prayer Coordinator.
Trish Layton
Finance
Trish is a member of Libanus Evangelical Church in Swansea. She's a payroll manager for a local firm of accountants and has previously worked for EMW for nearly 25 years.
Marc Howells

Marc is a member of Hope Church, Bethel and Calvary, where he serves as a deacon. He is a Civil Servant and is married to Claire.
