Affinity Theological Conference 2007 (01 Feb, 2007)

If you think your minister’s applications & well intended messages are getting rather dull and predictable you could do worse than send him off for some special studies to enrich his thinking processes & feed the flock. You might say “but we give him a book allowance to do that”. Yet that’s no replacement for active discussion & debate with top-class Christian thinkers of our age to stimulate the brain cells. After obtaining our degrees, we were married and settled in Newport, South Wales, where we are members of Malpas Road Evangelical Church. Contemporary Theological Issues website (01 Oct, 2005)
The Contemporary Theological Issues Team is working towards the launch of a website in 2006. This website will be an online theological journal published three times a year. Its aim will be to address those issues which arise in our own constituency as well as to stimulate thinking and evaluate more general theological issues from a distinctly Welsh reformed perspective. We are also intending to draw attention to other resources that are available elsewhere. Hard copies of each issue of the journal will also be available. We want to provide a forum where the hard questions of our day can be asked and wrestled with in the light of scripture and our rich Christian heritage. To that end an important part of the site will be an online discussion forum. Our hope is that this website will provide a platform from which other publications, conferences and resources will develop in due time.
